Saw a link to your blog on facebook.
Thank you for noticing the bike-on-bike-off (bo-bo) marketing campaign of the LRTA. That marketing campaign ticked you off enough to blog about it. And you discussed issues, that to your view, are relevant.

Maybe they are true, maybe they aren't, but that bo-bo campaign got a reaction from you, enough for you to take action, to blog about it. I hope that bo-bo marketing campaign will spark something in people who saw it or see this blog. It was a campaign to promote the LRT at par with other train systems allowing bi-modal transport opportunities. I would have wanted that full sized bikes be allowed into the train system. But at the present state of affairs of the transport authorities, we're happy with them allowing folding bikes in, initially. At least bike commuting advocates have one foot in the door.

Bikes! biking! bike commute? Posible nga ba? Awww, that would never work here. bike lanes? too expensive? Filipinos too obssessed with cars? Fiipinos love traffic? They look forward to it in the morning.

I think the worst campaign is the campaign that doesn't get noticed or no spark happens at all.

What do you think?

kRxricky pinedahttp://bikerkrx.multiply.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-517458268477828190.post-36403869465810705352010-11-21T04:53:09.784+08:002010-11-21T04:53:09.784+08:00Do you know when this Kia ad was ran? The recalled products contain only 1.34 grams per 100 calories.

In a separate interview, Tacandong said the required fat level content is necessary for growing children.

The recall created some confusion on the part of consumers. Some have questioned the safety aspect of the products.

“Ligtas 'yung dalawang produktong ito. Nagkataon lang na nagpalabas recently ng bagong Codex na dagdagan ng konti ang fat content ng dalawang produkto," corporate affairs manager Janryll Fernandez told radio dxMM on Wednesday.

But despite the changes, Fernandez reiterated that the 2 products have passed the stringent FDA standards, and there is no mislabeling.

He said the new order should now answer the questions of consumers.

Fernandez said mothers can call Mead Johnson to change the ones they bought with the new formula at 841-82222 for Metro Manila residents or at toll free number: 1800-1888-5861Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-517458268477828190.post-63123163795846420952010-09-22T17:08:50.824+08:002010-09-22T17:08:50.824+08:00Safe naman daw to consume sabi ni FDA, check nyo t...Safe naman daw to consume sabi ni FDA, check nyo tong link na to : http://bit.ly/cKdAg3baby janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12068734109479025015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-517458268477828190.post-22677378456131137632010-09-22T11:58:32.308+08:002010-09-22T11:58:32.308+08:00Here's the latest release from Mead Johnson

In one of the comparisons she's not even wearing the swimsuit in the same fashion. If you could get your hands on what you seem to be "green room" photos of the model, why couldn't you get the untouched model shots?

That's not to say the photos are heavily airbrushed. They definately are, but your attempt to prove it using what are clearly fake comparisons doesn't go anywhere towards backing up your case.Armitigenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-517458268477828190.post-31109472271080317232010-03-26T18:19:15.327+08:002010-03-26T18:19:15.327+08:00a 15 day gap between promos in a gas station does ...a 15 day gap between promos in a gas station does not make sense at all and will not make a differenc. most private vehicle owners gas up every 2 to 3 weeks. so that means these customers will feel there is a promo 24/7.

on the other side, a very small marketing cost means the promo being offered is really nothing in terms of value to the consumer. if the value being offered is so small, it means it will not be attractive enough - whhat is the point of doing the promo then?

it's just wasting precious marketing funds. and neither will the consumers appreciate it as it's value is too small to encourage increase in purchase.wawamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10959659301781204225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-517458268477828190.post-39269260727395732542010-03-26T18:14:12.459+08:002010-03-26T18:14:12.459+08:00the flier was given to all motorists who gas up an...the flier was given to all motorists who gas up and that includes private cars and vans, including high end cars like BMWs. the fact that these were distributed to these types of motorists means they intended to target even those motorists who are well to do. all the gas stations in all locations also distributed the fliers inlcuding those in greenhills and forbes park which again points out even the well to do customers were targeted. a P5 value is nothing to these types of consumers. it means shell just wasted printing the flieers and in launching the promo.wawamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10959659301781204225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-517458268477828190.post-89591762865433798022010-03-25T13:06:50.940+08:002010-03-25T13:06:50.940+08:00I acknowledge your point on having months with no ...I acknowledge your point on having months with no consumer promotion in order to measure effectiveness of promo during the times when promo is executed. But take note that there is usually a 15 day gap between successive promotions where sales can be measured and used as base of comparison. And trust me when I say that promotional costs hardly make a dent on the price at the pump. Mktg cost of more than 10cents/liter would surprise me. Also, given the sensitivity of the market, an oil company as large as shell cannot just drop prices. It will force the other big players to match and the small players to drop even further. in the end, nobody wins in a price war (except the consumer).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-517458268477828190.post-67021933631972756172010-03-25T12:02:22.701+08:002010-03-25T12:02:22.701+08:00I think you are only speaking for yourself. profes...I think you are only speaking for yourself. professional (jeep, etc) driver segment (who buy lubes more frequently and do the oil change themselves in order to save) will probably appreciate this more.
